Dermatitis is one of the diseases that was a rarity decades ago, and now it is a common occurrence. Seborrheic dermatitis on the face is most often found in adolescents. Allergic dermatitis on the face can be found mainly in children, due to their weak immunity. Atopic dermatitis on the face is more common in adults.
Perioral dermatitis pictures
It is also called rosacea-like. Perioral dermatitis (picture 1) is caused mainly by cosmetic substances: toothpaste, ointment, lipstick, cosmetics. Usually pale pink spots are located around the mouth, although the nose is often affected.
Nerve breakdowns, material metabolism, hormonal drugs can stimulate the onset of the disease. Perioral dermatitis can be caused by the use of mascara, eye shadow, eyeliner. The naive assumption is that dermatitis will pass by itself when changing low-quality cosmetics. The result of negligence can be tuberous thickening, absolutely not decorating the appearance.
Pictures of radiation dermatitis
This type of disease occurs after external radiation of ionizing radiation. Radiation dermatitis (picture 2) is a purely individual reaction of the body. Most often, radiation-induced dermatitis is caused by radiation therapy in the treatment of malignant neoplasms.
Radiation dermatitis can manifest itself in the form of acute erythema and desquamation or in the form of chronic effects, including atrophy of the skin telangiectasia.
Seborrheic dermatitis face pictures
This disease is independent, and it occurs when the glands responsible for sebaceous secretion fail. Seborrheic dermatitis on face (picture 3) is accompanied by acne and acne. In vernacular, seborrheic dermatitis is often called simply salotherapy. The culprit of the development of the disease is saprophytic flora.
Sudden, its inexplicable reproduction provokes primarily dermatitis on the nose, since the largest number of glands are located there. It also appears on the chin. Seborrheic dermatitis on the face is dry and oily. But the main impetus for the disease is the immune system. Seborrheic dermatitis is more common in young people.
Periocular dermatitis pictures
The disease also refers to an allergic form. Periocular dermatitis (picture 4) is manifested from household chemicals, in case of contacts at the factory with chemicals. However, in order for contact dermatitis to occur, direct contact with the allergen is necessary.
Periocular dermatitis needs particularly urgent treatment, since it quickly turns into complications: headache, decreased vision, scarring. This type of disease has the longest latent period. Only areas of the skin that had contact with the pathogen are susceptible to dermatitis.

Hitting the skin surface, photodermatitis (image 5) becomes a serious problem. Appearing red scaly patches often have a pustular focus. Photodermatitis covers the area with pimples, peeling a little later affects the cheeks, nose, forehead.
Photoallergic dermatitis on the face is often confused with eczema. However, unlike eczema, which quickly becomes chronic, phototoxic disappears in a couple of weeks. Photosensitive dermatitis on the face in adults has allergic roots, but sometimes heredity also plays a role. For years, the disease slumbers in the body until various factors awaken it.
